Do you have a lost and found department?
If you have lost something while attending a show at the Music Hall call 214.565.1116. The operator will check the lost and found log-book for your lost item, if it has been turned in. If you would like to report something missing, you may also tell the operator, or e-mail Nancy Senter. Please include the day, date, and your seat location for the show attended. This will allow us to search a specific area. Also be sure to give a return contact name and phone number as well as a detailed description of the lost item.

Where is the wheelchair access to the building?
There are two wheelchair accessible entrances to the Music Hall. One entrance, which faces Parry Avenue on the West side of the building, provides a recently constructed wheelchair ramp. The circular drive on the North side of the building provides direct access into the front lobby. Extra wheelchairs are available to assist patrons to their theatre seats if needed. Arrangements for wheelchair seating should be made when ordering or purchasing tickets, as seats have to be removed and special ramps put in place.

Child Policy
We encourage parents to introduce their children to live theatre when they think the child is ready for the experience. We expect that parents will take into account the subject and nature of the show in question; the age, maturity, and interest level of the child; and would be considerate of the other patrons seated near them. The ticket purchasing policy for young children will vary according to each show or event that is held at the Music Hall. Please check with the box office or group presenting the event for exact information. Many shows require children over one year old to have a ticket for admittance to the theatre. Some shows or producers require all patrons, regardless of age, to have ticket in order to enter the theatre.

During the State Fair of Texas, is admission to the Fair included with the ticket to a musical at the Music Hall?
Yes, a ticket for a Dallas Summer Musicals performance will allow entrance to the Fair only on the date for the ticketed show. So make a day of it and spend the day at the Fair and an afternoon or evening at the musical!!!

Late Seating Policy during the State Fair
This is dictated by the producer/presenter of the show. We suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to show time during the Fair due to heavy traffic volume in and around the fair grounds.

How do I find out about activities during the State Fair of Texas?
Check The State Fair of Texas web site: www.bigtex.com for current information.

If attending a musical at the Music Hall, where do I park during the State Fair of Texas?
The State Fair of Texas organization controls all the parking lots within the fair grounds during the run of the Fair and there will be an additional parking fee to park inside or outside the grounds. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis for everyone and there are no parking spaces specifically reserved for Music Hall patrons. It is recommended that patrons who will be attending a Dallas Summer Musicals performance during the time of the State Fair, which begins the last Friday in September and runs through mid-October, remember to:

1. Review State Fair literature for parking information and access www.bigtex.com for all current State Fair information.

2. Leave home extra early and allow extra time for parking and traffic.

3. Check for space in the parking lot across Parry Avenue just outside the fair grounds on the West side of the Music Hall, managed by Ace Parking. This parking lot offers easy access to and from I-30.

4. General fair activities along with popular concerts and college football games (Texas vs. OU –and- Grambling vs. Prairie View) will heavily affect traffic and parking in and around the fair grounds during the State Fair of Texas.
