Do you have a lost and found department?
Yes. If you have lost something while attending one of the shows, call 214.421.5678. The operator can check the lost and found log book for your item. If you would like to report something missing, you may also tell the operator, or email Nancy Senter . If you email, be sure to include the day, date, and seating assignment for the show you attended. This will allow us to search a specific area. Also be sure to give a return contact name and number as well as a detailed description of the item lost.
Where is the wheelchair access to the building?
Use the Parry Street entrance. The "circle drive" will be on the right. This is the best place to drop off or pick up. For all accessibility answers, click here.
What about the acoustics of the Music Hall?
The acoustics of the Music Hall and our sound system have undergone major changes and advancements. Every incoming show brings their own sound system and sound technicians. That is important because the sound is integral to the show as much as costumes. Our new system and acoustics seamlessly interconnect with the show's system to bring high quality clear sound to every one of our 3400 seats. We work closely with the touring show technicians to make your experience a pleasant one in every respect. We are pleased that the touring show technicians now frequently comment that acoustically the Music Hall is now one of the best-if not the best-theater on their tours.
Child Policy
Dallas Summer Musicals encourages parents to introduce their children to live theater when they think the child is ready for the experience. We expect that parents will take into account the subject and nature of the show in question; the age, maturity, and interest level of the child; and would be considerate of the other patrons seated near them. Many children will enjoy the experience of going to a show even if they are not able or interested in staying for the entire performance.
Dallas Summer Musicals requires that all children one year old or older have a ticket for admittance to the theater. While children less than a year old could enter without paying admission, we would expect that parents will not bring babies to the theater. For children less than four years old, parents may purchase a less expensive ticket for their child and then have the child sit in their lap in a more expensive section, as long as it does not impose on other patrons. Dallas Summer Musicals requires that children four years old or older sit in their own seat. Booster seats are available to rent for a nominal fee, while supplies last.
Some shows and their producers may have requirements that supersede the DSM Child Policy, such as requiring all patrons, regardless of age, to have a ticket.
Can I get backstage access?
